OUR APPROACH TO COVID-19

In light of the national lockdown declaration made by President Ramaphosa, we wanted to let you know how we will be moving forward over this time and how these measures will accommodate you, our loyal guest.

All our hotels are currently deactivated for the duration of the lockdown, to meet the requirements laid out by the President – with the exception of those operating under the exemption requirements, servicing essential services as directed by Government.

Should regulations permit, a selection of hotels in various locations will re-open at the end of the 21-day period. The impact of this pandemic, along with an increasing number of global travel bans, has resulted in a total collapse of normal hotel-room demand. In order to preserve the sustainability of our business and the people whose livelihoods depend on us, a number of hotels in key nodes will remain deactivated for longer so as to reduce excess capacity.

Once finalised, a list of hotels affected will be made available and will be updated, along with the suggested alternative available hotel, where applicable. The group has the ability to reactivate capacity on short notice should we see an upturn in demand.

Post the 21-day lockdown, we understand that you may be reconsidering your upcoming travel plans. Please rest assured that we will try to accommodate changes to travel where possible.
