PS: We recently sent blogger, Natasha Clark, through to Southern Sun The Cullinan for a weekend with her family.  This is what she had to say:
The Cullinan is truly grand & beautiful.  The staff is real friendly, the food is great. They have a shuttle that departs to the V & A Waterfront every hour & they assist you with your local travel needs. They have 24 hour room service. A bar, gorgeous pool area with couches, loungers & tables. A pianist on a grand piano in reception & during dinner. Accommodation includes breakfast which is a heavenly buffet spread with everything from pork sausages to waffles. At reception they even serve water flavoured with fresh cuts of fruit – pineapple, melon & grapefruit. Everything is so clean, white, fresh and classic. It really was nice being treated to luxury and getting away from the regular peanut butter sandwich & oros routine at home. Noah and Benjamin especially loved it, and the chef & hotel managers treated them something special. I wish you could have seen their faces at the sight of their very first dessert buffet.

  1. This is the only hotel group where you get the best service at every level of hotels….from Garden Court to the luxury 5star properties. The focus is on people and I love it….’the Tsogo way’ is the only way. They make it affordable for everyone to experience great memories and holiday experiences….

  2. The only hotel group that can also offer you an island sanctuary in the Seychelles with luxurious properties such as Maia and the stunning Paradise Sun, where Philippe and his amazing team will spoil you, while the chefs will ensure you are fattened up with exquisite cuisine from morn to night and the location is phenomenal, out of a movie and better than any other island I have ever visited. Rooms literally steps away from the sea sand, the warmest waters and a stunning team to cater to your every whim!

  3. Tsogo Sun is such an established name in the accommodation industry. There are little bits to enjoy for each member of the family and its reassuring to know that Mom and Dad save a few bob and kids stay free! Located in all the big centres, its a sure win

  4. I love the tsogo sun group and so do my toddler grandsons. They will spot the brand anywhere. My personal favourites are GC Umhlanga, SS Monte and the best Beverly Hills. Its so affordable that my daughter can book two rooms to spoil me too. Can’t wait to visit the new Maharani. Service at all hotels are really excellent.

  5. I also stayed at Paradise Sun where we spoilt with great service and the most delightful meals. It is really paradise with Philippe and his staff. Its now a reason to always visit the seychelles

  6. Lovely offers. Being a vitality member on Discovery I love the benefits that we receive. And we try and make use of it too. Just wish we could get booking at Drak sun tho… Seems to unavail most holidays.

  7. Mmm…
Haven’t tried out the Drakensberg Sun, but my little one and I are huge fans of Garden Court Nelson Mandela Boulevard in the Cape.

Staff are always warm and welcoming, and due to the fact that I holiday there often, they even remember me & ask after my family…

Definitely highly recommended if you’re visiting the Cape with your family.
