Tsogo Sun’s Samantha Croft, scoops another prestigious business award.
Sam Croft is a dynamic woman. She has worked her way up from a number of our Tsogo Sun hotels, to being the leader of our biggest hotel, Southern Sun Elangeni & Maharani. Walking through the hotel lobby, it’s plain to see the utmost respect and loyalty Sam’s staff have of her. We are so proud of her achievements, especially this latest one.
In less than two months after being recognised as the leading woman in the corporate sector in KwaZulu-Natal by the KZN Businesswomen’s Association, Sam scoops another prestigious award, last week she was announced the winner in the Tourism & Leisure sector for South Africa in CEO Magazine’s Africa’s Most Influential Woman in Business and Government award.
Sam eased her way through a gruelling and robust judging process which had an estimated 9000 entrants from the African continent. This was the first leg of 9 events to take place across Africa of which the overall continent winner will be announced in October.
“I am honoured to be a recipient of such a prestigious award and strongly believe that it takes great team work and dedication to excel in business. I am so grateful to my team for their hard work and commitment,” says Croft.
Chief Executive of CEO Holdings, Annelize Wepener said Croft was a deserving winner, adding that women across Africa continuing to push the boundaries, excelling in diverse sectors and industries.
“Our panel of judges stand in awe as they realise what these women have achieved,” she said.
On behalf of Tsogo Sun, Sam, you deserve this. We are so proud of you!
